The typed ascription; “NO PARKING OF AUTOMOBILES ALLOWED HERE” may be in reference to a nearby sign, not in the crop, that read “CARS STOP HERE” which has mistakenly been understood to mean automobiles, however the sign commonly indicated both a streetcar stop and gave reference to which lines and/or cars could be boarded at that location.
