The San Antonio Club and Grand Opera House (1886) and the Wickes building (1886) are present, although there appears to be a developmental defect causing a foreshortening effect marring the upper right corner of the photograph. View is SSE and elevated across the plaza from the Maverick Bank Building (1884). There is no evidence of either the plaza paving (1888) or landscaping projects(1889). Hand printed ascription
