Subject: Photo crop of an F. Hardesty photograph of Main Plaza. The view is NNE from a point in the plaza. The Kampmann Block is center prominent, however, the real interest is that this photograph may well have been taken within a few days after the fire (18 March 1886) that destroyed the Smith Block that had been on the corner and across (west) from the Kampmann Block. It would be the location between the hanging watch and the Kampmann Building.
