The twin mansard roofs of the former Bexar County Court House (1883) can be seen in the distance on Soledad Street. The massive Kampmann Block sits at the NE corner of Commerce, Soledad and Main Plaza. The three-story Dauenhauer building across Commerce to the south from the Kampmann building houses Frank Bros and S. Deutsch & Co. Across the street to the west of the Kampmann building is the Elite Restaurant and Saloon.
