Subject: Photo crop of a photograph purported to be of the Wolfson Department Store Fire of 24 January 1904. However, there is no firefighting equipment visible. Women and children have been brought in the carriages. The horses do not seem to be stressed. It would seem more likely that this photograph is a viewing of the damage, perhaps taken within a short time of the event. Wolfson’s was on the north west corner of Main Plaza at Main Avenue.
